Mi-Co Brings Digital Pen E-Forms Technology to Europe for Anoto Conference

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC – September 8, 2008 – Mi-Co, (www.mi-corporation.com), the mobile data capture software provider, will participate in the Anoto Functionality Conference September 8-10 in Malmö, Sweden. Anoto Group AB is a pioneering leader of digital pen and paper technology. Anoto digital pen hardware technology optimizes paper-based processes by rapidly and reliably converting handwritten information from business forms into digital documents. Several Mi-Co partners and customers will be presenting their E-Forms solutions and the business ROI achieved with Mi-Forms and Anoto Digital Pen and Paper.

Michael Rosenberg, President and Chief Executive Officer of clinical research organization Health Decisions, Inc., and Elodia Cole, Research Manager of the Breast Imaging Research Lab, University of North Carolina, will participate in a healthcare panel on “the Use of Digital Pen and Paper to Imrpove Efficiency of Clinical Trials.” These Mi-Co customers will also present at a Medicon Valley Alliance seminar on the use of digital pen and paper to improve efficiency of Clinical Trials. The Medicon Valley Alliance is a Danish-Swedish life sciences cluster community.

Simon Morgan, General Manager of Rover Technology Fusions, will present on successful enterprise solutions with Anoto Digital Pen and Paper and Mi-Co Mi-Forms on Day 2 of the Anoto Conference.

Mi-Co has nominated two customers for Anoto Golden Pen awards. Mi-Co nominated the University of North Carolina Hospitals for the Most Satisfied Customer award and Health Decisions, Inc. for Most Innovative Solution. Both customers use Anoto technology in conjunction with Mi-Co Mi-Forms software to capture data in highly mobile environments.

Mi-Co has been very successful in enabling many clinical trials customers, including CROs, government and academic labs, and medical device manufacturers, to streamline field data collection for clinical trials.
